2018 Pepper grow update #18 - 09/16/18 - Porch peppers in Kratky tote systems
2018 Pepper grow update #18 for 9/16/18. This is a short update, covering the plants on my porch. Not much change on my drip system plants, and it was raining outside. The peppers plants on my porch are in Kratky method systems, with float valves to maintain a static nutrient level for each plant.

This is my bi-weekly pepper grow update for 2018. I'm way behind on harvesting, plants are doing well. The video quality is off in some parts of the video, as I was testing out a new recording app. I don't have all the settings down.

2018 Pepper grow update #9 - 05/13/18
I put my plants outside for the first time today, starting the hardening off process. I'm hoping to have them planted next week on the drip system. I noticed today that I have a Reaper x Moruga Scorpion pod already. I feel like I'm getting a late start outside, but considering the head start they got indoors, I think we are in good shape. Pepper grow update #6 03/31/18
This is an update on my pepper grow for March 31, 2018. I still have a few to transplant out of the aerogardens. The pepper in self-watering trays are doing well, for the most part, some slight yellow on a few of the peppers, but most are showing good color and growth. A few have started producing pods.
2018 Grow update #5.5 - Float valve feeder design for maintaining a static nutrient level
I mentioned this project in the previous pepper grow update, and put it together over the weekend. I'm growing Holy Basil that I started in the wicking germination/sprouting bottles (https://youtu.be/xHC7qnS4yCI) I transplanted them to a shallow 10-gallon tote. Initially, it'll function as a Kratky design, but as the nutrient level drops to a certain point, the installed float valve will allow nutrients in from a 5-gallon reservoir, maintaining a static level of nutrients from that point forward.
