This is a super hot pepper grow update for August 18, 2019. Thanks for watching my videos. Overall, the plants are doing very well. I had a little bit of a setback with the large Kratky Bih Jolokia. It ran low on nutrients, and pH got too low. I've replaced the nutrients and hope it will recover. The large Kratky Butch T Scorpion in the 60-gallon pickle barrel is doing well. The drip plants are producing heavily with many pods turning ripe. This is a super hot pepper grow update for August 04, 2019. The pepper plant shown in the thumbnail is a Kratky hydroponic Bih Jolokia growing out of a 45-gallon trash can. My other large Kratky system is a 60-gallon pickle barrel with a Butch T Scorpion pepper. This super hot is still recovering from a split in the trunk, but a quick repair has saved the broken half of the plant. The drip system plants have grown a lot since the last update, and a lot of the fruits are starting to ripen. Thanks for watching my videos. This is a super hot pepper grow update for July 21, 2019. The peppers shown in the thumbnail are Leviathan Gnarly Scorpion. My 60-gallon Kratky plant, with the Butch T Scorpion, has a split in the trunk, but I think I fixed it. The drip system plants are producing a lot of pepper fruit, some starting to turn ripe. I'll probably harvest all the ripe peppers this week, and there should be more ripe by the next grow update. I'll post another update in two weeks. Thanks for watching my videos. This is a super hot pepper grow update for July 5, 2019. The pepper shown in the thumbnail is a bhut shaped Purple Pumpkin. My large system Kratky plants are getting huge. I wish I had started more of them. One of my peppers has a birds nest under it. The drip system plants are about due for more fertilizer, which I'll add this weekend. The plants are coming along, although a little behind what they were this time last year. The large Kratky systems are doing well. I have a few in the ground now. This is the first look at two large Kratky systems that I just set up. I'll publish a more comprehensive video showing setup and grow progress soon. I'm using Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 nutrients. I'm posting this pepper grow update a week early, mostly an excuse to test out my DJI Osmo Pocket, which is a 3 axis stabilized gimbal and camera all in one. This should make my videos, where I move around a lot, much less shaky. So far I'm very happy with it, still figuring out the settings.
