For the AeroGarden, you can use the sponges they sell, but the Biodome 60 cell refill size sponges work well also. It’s good to always check current prices, sometimes you might find one or the other on sale. The AeroGarden sponge packs come in 50. The Biodome sponge pack has 120. Another thing to consider is the AeroGarden sponges are a little more dense, whereas the biodome ones are spongier. I have used both types with success. Also, the thicker plug types like Rapid Rooter, Root Riot, etc.. work great, but you’ll need to cut them the lengthwise to fit, by quarters or thirds.
